Scholarship 2012

Learning financial skills is crucial to future financial freedom.  Since 2004 Credit Counselling Services of Atlantic Canada, Inc. (CCSAC) has awarded $101,000 to students across Atlantic Canada.  With several $1,000 scholarships available annually, we continue to provide students with the tools to minimize their post-secondary debt and to use credit wisely. Our scholarship is released in January of the following year that it is awarded.

CCSAC Scholarships are open to residents of Atlantic Canada (regardless of age) who will be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program in the up-coming academic year. Applications are accepted in both French and English. The scholarship recipients will be required to provide proof of acceptance and enrollment.

We congratulate all of the CCSAC Scholarship Participants!

Testimonials:

Last year, I was fortunate to receive a 1,000$ scholarship from Credit Counselling Services of Atlantic Canada. I went to high school in a small community and I was one of only a few who applied for that scholarship in particular.  Following my graduation, I went directly to college to get my Medical Laboratory Assistant course and certification.  This course was a forty week program followed by a four week practicum.  It was taught at the Academy of Learning College in Miramichi, NB which is located half an hour away from where I lived. I had to travel back and forth everyday to go to college.  When I received the scholarship, I was very happy because it was going to help me financially in earning my diploma and because I traveled a lot, I knew I had to spend a lot of money on gas and other essentials.  Thank you Credit Counselling Services of Atlantic Canada for helping me achieve my goal of successfully graduating from college.  I am now employed as a Medical Laboratory Assistant in one of our local hospitals.

Thank you,
Chantalle Doiron
