A Message From Our CEO: We’re Here to Help (COVID-19)

As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve, we understand that Canadians are facing some unprecedented and challenging times. We want to assure you that Credit Counselling Services of Atlantic Canada is taking precautions to keep our clients and employees safe.

Following the advice of Canadian public health officials, here are some of the steps we are taking to help reduce the risks of contracting or spreading COVID-19:

  • We’re moving all of our in-person counselling sessions to telephone so that we can continue to offer support to individuals during this difficult time. Please note our new temporary reduced hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
  • All business travel has been suspended and our staff will not be taking part in any conferences, in-person gatherings or training activities.
  • All workshops and presentations have been postponed to a later date.

We know that at times like this, our clients might need us more than ever. The impact that COVID-19 will have on Canadians’ finances will be significant, and we encourage the government to step up and help wherever they can.

Please know that we are here to support you – now and in the future.

We will continue to assess this situation as it evolves. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to stay informed, follow the advice of health care officials, and stay safe and healthy.
