Education is the very first step to effective money management. It’s important that children learn about money and finance from a young age to ensure they have the knowledge and financial literacy skills to help them succeed later in life.
Credit Counselling Services of Atlantic Canada offers educational presentations on personal finance for students across Atlantic Canada. Our 1-hour presentations equip students with information to make sound financial decisions and can be conducted in-person or through virtual webinars.
In our presentations, we cover a variety of topics geared towards youth, such as:
- Managing your money
- Learning to budget
- Looking at your expenses
- How to save
- Putting a roof over your head
- Planning for the future
